She has taught energetic movement awareness and self-esteem classes and workshops that evolved out of in-depth studies of the human spirit and a professional modern dance career. These songs speak of the values she holds dear; her passion for nourishing foods, gardening, drawing and celebrating the beauty in all. “A golden voice that bathes the listener in a vocal caress.” Hélène Attia is a singer and guitarist who smoothly transitions between her native French language and English. She entertained audiences of children and appeared in concert with Merl Saunders, Roger Glenn, Frank Martin and Terry Miller. Along with Owen Davis, the conga player on ‘A Garden of Songs’ and other members of her eight piece band were the opening act for the Grand Opening of the California Culinary Institute, ‘Mustard Magic’ in St. Helena, CA.
